On May 13, 1992, Falun Dafa, also known as Falun Gong, was introduced to the public in China. It is also the birthday of the founder of Falun Dafa, Mr Li Hongzhi, respectfully referred to as Master Li, and known as World Falun Dafa Day. Falun Dafa is a spiritual practice in the Buddhist tradition based on the universal principles of Truth, Compassion, Forbearance (Zhen 真, Shan 善, Ren 忍 in Chinese).
