Mask wearing is not required for Ontario students come this September, the province’s education ministry has confirmed.
In an email statement to The Epoch Times on Aug. 8, the ministry says most health and safety requirements for the fall semester will remain unchanged from the end of the 2021–22 school year, including voluntary use of masks.
“School boards will continue to have access to rapid antigen tests to be used in accordance with provincial testing guidance,” the statement said.
Masks will also be made available to students upon request.
