The Toronto police have arrested a suspect involved in the killing of a woman in the city’s downtown area on Friday morning.
The police said in a Twitter statement that officers arrived at the area near Yonge Street and King Street at around 11:40 a.m. on Jan. 20, in response to reports of a male assaulting a female.
The suspect, who was described as around 40 years old, with red hair braided at the back, a beard, and a thin build, was arrested at about 2 p.m., according to an update statement from the Toronto police. ASSAULT:
