Videos and photos are emerging showing buildings damaged after a magnitude 6 earthquake struck in regional Victoria, in the south of Australia at around 9.15 a.m. on Wednesday morning. One video shows the brick facade and part of the roof of a building crumbled onto Chapel Street in the suburb of Prahran, while another shows a live news broadcast from a studio being disrupted by the tremors. Geoscience Australia reported the quake’s epicentre at a depth of 10km (6.2 miles) near Mansfield, about 200km (131 miles) northeast of Melbourne, Victoria’s capital. Meanwhile, the Bureau of Meteorology has reported that there is no tsunami threat from the quake. According to the ABC, the quake was felt all across Victoria, as well as over 600km away in Canberra in the ACT, over 870km away in Sydney in NSW, over 840km away in Adelaide in SA, and over 720km away in Launceston in Tasmania.
