Rep. Don Young (R-Alaska), who served decades in Congress, passed away at age 88, his office announced late March 18. Young died while traveling from Washington to Alaska with his wife Anne, the congressman’s office said. Young “passed away today while traveling home to Alaska to be with the state and people that he loved,” the office said in a statement. Young’s cause of death has not been made public.
