The Department of Justice argued in a March 2 court filing that former President Donald Trump should not have absolute immunity from civil lawsuits in connection to the Capitol breach. The filing comes as Democratic lawmakers push back against House Speaker Kevin McCarthy giving Fox News access to several hours of footage of the events on Jan. 6.
