San Jose–Oktoberfest is just around the corner, the buzz has already started. Bust out your lederhosen and get ready to polka, because the festivities are about to commence!
Here’s a lineup of the Bay Area Oktoberfest events that have been announced for this year.
Monterey Bay Oktoberfest: Noon to 6 p.m. Sept. 3, The Barnyard Shopping Village, 3652 The Barnyard, Carmel. This traditional German-style outdoor festival offers a beer garden party, complete with foamy fun and frivolity that millions of beer lovers across the world have come to enjoy. You’ll also enjoy a Miss Oktoberfest contest and the crowning Miss Jr. Oktoberfest. Admission includes full access to beer gardens throughout the fairgrounds, craft vendors, dancing and live music by The Internationals, a San Francisco-based Oktoberfest Band. $20.
