Dejan Joveljic scored on a penalty kick in second-half stoppage time as the Los Angeles Galaxy, after blowing a two-goal lead, rallied for a 3–3 draw against the Seattle Sounders on Friday in Carson, California.
Javier “Chicharito” Hernandez and Victor Vazquez scored in the first half for the Galaxy (10–11–4, 34 points), who remained winless in their past nine matches (0–5–4) against Seattle.
Raul Ruidiaz had a goal and an assist and Kelyn Rowe and Jordan Morris also tallied for the Sounders (10–13–3, 33 points), who moved from 10th to seventh place in the Western Conference and above the playoff line.
