The City of Laguna Beach has introduced numerous beach-related ordinances ahead of tourism season, including the banning of plastic straws on beaches and trails. The new policies also prohibit single-use plastic containers on beaches and trails, and forbid restaurants from distributing them with takeout orders. As well, the public is restricted from feeding wild birds in city parks.
