Jussie Smollett has been moved to a new jail cell, the Cook County Sheriff’s Office and his family said Tuesday. The former “Empire” actor, 39, was sentenced to 150 days in jail on March 10 for lying to police about being a victim of an attack he was accused to have orchestrated himself.
