The incident on Jan. 6 was not an insurrection—a word dragged out by Nancy Pelosi, the Democrats, and the media to make this sound like the worst thing possible. It was terrible and should not have happened. There should have been more police and guards around. I, as a Republican and Trump supporter, as do many Trump supporters, did not and do not condone these actions. I haven’t heard a number yet for the number of protesters there that day. Whatever the number, there were less than 800 in the building. Everyone else, Trump supporters, stayed out knowing that this was just a bunch of idiots entering the building. An insurrection is an armed group supported by a vast number of people. These guys were not armed and were not in there to overthrow the government.
