J.T. Miller scored a pair of power-play goals while Bo Horvat and Elias Pettersson both scored once in three-point outings as the host Vancouver Canucks beat the Dallas Stars 6–3 on Sunday. Vasily Podkolzin and Brock Boeser also scored for the Canucks, while goaltender Thatcher Demko made 25 saves. Quinn Hughes collected three assists. Joe Pavelski, Luke Glendening, and Ryan Suter scored for the Stars, who have one win in six outings. Goalie Anton Khudobin stopped 30 shots. Pavelski’s power-play goal opened the scoring, the league-leading 10th time the Canucks had surrendered the first goal in a game, at the 13:35 mark.
