The above joke serves to illustrate the limitations of ‘seeing is believing.’ In fact, most of our knowledge comes from books, the Internet, professional bodies, and other media. However, in Hong Kong since 2019, both have been censored by the regime. We used to believe that the media would stick to their own professional codes and present information and views to users in an objective and multi-perspective manner.
