My worry and concerns are for OUR country. Never in my 60-plus years have I ever seen us so divided, and the primary cause for that is the media. There are no “NEWS” broadcasts any longer, but rather cheerleaders from both sides, and then on Sunday, Nov. 17, I read a teacher was quitting because she’s required to teach that there are no right or wrong answers? Yes, apparently 2+2=4 is considered racist, thus if a child says 2+2=5, it is an acceptable answer. Then again on Monday, Nov. 18, I read a columnist for The New York Times asked, “Why do journalists need to be fair and honest?” She espoused that journalists on the news, on TV, or in print should not be required to treat each side fairly.
