Police in Irvine, California, are asking the public to help solve the mysterious kidnapping of a mother and daughter. Amber Aiaz, also known as Mei Yi Wu, and her daughter, Melissa Fu, 13, were last seen Nov. 22, 2019, at 6 p.m. at their home near Michelson and University drives. The 35-year-old woman’s husband told police that their disappearance was preceded by a knock on the door. When he opened it, he was rendered unconscious by a Chinese couple harboring an unknown substance. When the husband awoke, Aiaz and Fu were gone. The Federal Bureau of Investigation—which is working with the Irvine Police Department on the case—is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to their whereabouts. Irvine Police Sgt.
