President Joe Biden, at Hunter Bidens’ request in 2017, wrote a college recommendation letter for the son of a Chinese executive whom Hunter did business with, leaked emails suggest. The emails purportedly from Hunter Biden’s laptop, obtained by Fox News, show exchanges in early 2017 between Hunter Biden, his business partners at Rosemont Seneca, and Jonathan Li, CEO of Chinese investment firm BHR. Hunter Biden was an unpaid board member of BHR until around October 2019, and held a 10 percent stake in the firm until at least last May. By November, Hunter had divested his stake, according to the New York Times.
