Commentary Back in 2009, in the early days of the first Barack Obama administration, I wrote the single truest sentence about the Democrat Party ever penned. In an essay for National Review entitled “I Still Hate You, Sarah Palin,” composed under the name of my alter-ego, the Hollywood leftist David Kahane, I made this observation: “think of the Democratic Party as what it really is: a criminal organization masquerading as a political party.” Ah, but I went on: “If you had any sense, you would start using our tactics against us.
