The House of Representatives plans a floor vote for Feb. 4 about whether to strip Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) of her committee assignments because of the freshman congresswoman’s apparent online embrace of “conspiracy theories” and other statements, a top Democrat says. House Democratic Leader Steny Hoyer (D-Md.) said in a statement on Feb. 3, “I spoke to [House Republican Leader Kevin] McCarthy this morning, and it is clear there is no alternative to holding a Floor vote on the resolution to remove Rep. Greene from her committee assignments.” The proposal, sponsored by Rep.
