Federal public safety minister Marco Mendicino stood in the House of Commons on Nov. 29 and said of his party’s new gun-control legislation: “I want to be clear that we are absolutely not targeting law-abiding gun owners.”
But licensed firearms owners who spoke to The Epoch Times disagree, and expressed concern that they will be turned into criminals overnight if last-minute amendments to the federal gun bill C-21 are passed.
The gun owners said they fear publicizing their possession of possibly future illegal weapons. The individuals who spoke to The Epoch Times said the feds are waging an “attack” on the property rights, heritage, and lifestyle of firearms owners, sport shooters, and hunters….
