THOUSAND OAKS, Calif.—Insurance agent Carlene Faerber was reminded of heaven and the divine when she watched Shen Yun at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza, with her husband Gordon on March 16.
“My husband and I are Christians. But believing in heaven is something we do believe in, and we believe that God’s love is universal and so accepting that my job isn’t to judge—my job is to love people,” Mrs. Faerber said.
“And I love that [Shen Yun] got their information across in such a beautiful way.”
Shen Yun means “the beauty of divine beings dancing.”
