A teenager with excellent swimming skills in Stockbridge, Georgia, recently saved a toddler from drowning in a swimming pool over Mother’s Day weekend. Randy Brown, 13, was playing with his cousin in the pool when a woman came searching for her son, Kingston. She went over to the poolside and was alarmed to see her 2-year-old son underwater, on the bottom of the pool. When she called out for help, Randy leapt into action without a second thought. “When it first happened, I didn’t think about nothing. I just went down there and got him,” said Randy in a video, which was posted on The Swim Center’s Instagram. Randy dived into the water and, thanks to his excellent water skills, managed to pull the young boy from the bottom of the pool and to safety.
