Biologically female athletes should not be forced to compete with athletes who are born biological males, student-athlete Linnea Saltz told an audience at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC). Saltz, who participates in the highest level of intercollegiate athletics known as the NCAA Division I, said on Saturday that her views do not stem from a desire to discriminate against transgender women but instead that accommodating for LGBTQ athletes should not come at the expense of destroying women’s sports and the dreams of biological female athletes. “We use this [the] trigger word ‘inclusion,’ but people don’t realize that by being inclusive, in that sense, it is exclusionary to people like myself.
