SANTA ANA—The Orange County Violent Gang Task Force was serving a number of federal and state warrants March 3 as part of an investigation targeting an Orange County-based street gang, according to the FBI’s Los Angeles field office. “The Orange County Violent Gang Task Force and its partners are executing twelve federal search warrants this morning, as well as one federal arrest warrant, one state arrest warrant and probation compliance checks, as part of an investigation targeting an Orange County-based street gang,” FBI spokeswoman Laura Eimiller said in a statement. “Several federal and local tactical teams were utilized during the service of the warrants,” Eimiller added. “The affidavits supporting the search warrants have been sealed by a federal judge.” In addition to the FBI and the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency, the task force was also assisted by the Santa Ana, Anaheim, Fullerton and Newport Beach police departments, the IRS Criminal …
