The Colorado Rapids and Los Angeles Galaxy, owners of the two worst records in Major League Soccer, played to a 0–0 draw on Saturday night, June 24, in Commerce City, Colo.
The Rapids (2–9–8, 14 points) were unable to pick up their first home victory of the season, falling to 0–4–5 in home matches. The Galaxy (3–9–6, 15 points), though, managed to earn a point for the fourth straight league match (1–0–3).
Rapids goalkeeper William Yarbrough earned his fifth shutout of the season by making three saves. Galaxy keeper Jonathan Bond needed to make just one save to record his second shutout.
