Former Vice President Mike Pence has undergone surgery to have a pacemaker implanted to treat symptoms related to a slow heart rate, his office said on Thursday. Pence underwent the heart procedure on Wednesday at Inova Fairfax Medical Campus in Falls Church, Virginia.
