BERLIN—Former opera singer Werner Heinen took his daughter to see a performance by the renowned Shen Yun Performing Arts on New Year’s Eve 2022 in Berlin, Germany, and was deeply impressed.
“As an artist, I have to say that I admire them very much. Every Shen Yun artist impressed me, especially with their discipline and the aesthetics they showed during the performance,” Mr. Heinen after seeing New York-based Shen Yun.
Heinen has performed at various European theaters, including the Staatsoperette in Dresden and the Semperoper. He has sung leading roles in 28 operas, musicals, and dance productions.
He said, “I think today was a fulfilling experience for me. Everyone in the performance gave their best, with every part of their body, and everyone gave a great performance. The soprano in particular had a divine voice, great technique and sang beautifully through and through.”…
