A jury in Colorado on Friday convicted former NFL player Justin Bannan of attempted first-degree murder, local media reported. Jurors also found Bannan guilty of attempted second-degree murder and assault, outlets in Colorado reported, citing the Boulder County District Attorney’s Office. “We appreciate the jury’s hard work and service over the past two weeks,” the office said in a statement. “Our team will have additional comments after the sentencing.” Sentencing is scheduled to take place on Nov. 5.
