PUNTA GORDA, Fla.—Lee County Sheriff Carmine Marceno is defending his recent arrested and “perp-walk” of a 10-year-old boy for making online threats to “shoot up” his elementary school.
Marceno then posted it on his department’s Facebook page.
He told The Epoch Times that he cannot “overlook a threat” no matter how benign it may be—even from children.
And what happened in Uvalde, Texas, remains at the forefront of his mind.
