A supporter of the Republican challenging New York’s governor was attacked at a rally for the governor, video footage shows.
The female supporter of Rep. Lee Zeldin (R-N.Y.) was physically accosted, held by a Democrat member of the New York City Council, and choked by a male, the footage shows.
The incident took place as Zeldin supporters protested at a Nov. 5 rally for Gov. Kathy Hochul in the borough of Manhattan.
An independent photographer who runs the Viral News NY account, Leeroy Johnson, captured and shared the video on social media.
The short clip showed the woman being held by a man and Councilwoman Crystal Hudson, a Democrat. When the woman tries to free herself, the man choked her, the footage shows….
