Republicans have vowed Congressional investigations into the conduct of Dr. Anthony Fauci if they win majority in the House and Senate in November, with many being critical of his leadership decisions lack of transparency through the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Fauci announced that he would resign from his post as director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) in December, after more than 50 years working in government.
