The prime-time Jan. 6 hearings in Washington are now underway. While there are many aspects of this hearing that are worthy of discussion, I want to focus on one specific claim: that a congressman from Georgia was helping to do reconnaissance for the people that eventually entered the building.
This was the implication against Rep. Barry Loudermilk (R-Ga.) issued by the Democrat-led Jan. 6 Committee. And while the legacy media ran with this story, there is a bit of a hiccup that came in the form of a letter from the chief of the Capitol Police force—saying that these allegations (and these implications) are simply not true….
