By Peter Sblendorio From New York Daily News Film and TV actress Romy Walthall, whose decades-long career included a role in the classic action flick “Face/Off” and appearances on popular series such as “The X-Files,” has died. Walthall died in Los Angeles on May 19, her son told Variety. The actress had suffered sudden cardiac arrest. After beginning her entertainment career as a model, Walthall landed a string of acting gigs during the mid-1980s. That included roles in the 1984 films “Up the Creek” and “Thief of Hearts,” and on an episode of “Charles in Charge” that same year. Her list of acting credits continued to expand toward the end of the decade and into the 1990s, with notable projects including her portrayal of Rita on the sitcom “Man of the People” and a recurring role as Audrey Wilkes on the legal drama “Civil War.” In “Face/Off,” which premiered in …
