SAN DIEGO—An evacuation order issued for two apartment complexes in Mira Mesa following a natural gas leak caused by a vehicle collision was lifted March 15 evening.
One person was injured in the crash and taken to Palomar Medical Center, according to the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department.
The leak was reported at 3:18 p.m. at Gold Coast Drive and Black Mountain Road, with firefighters arriving at 3:25 p.m. The collision occurred at the same location, according to police.
According to the fire department, Black Mountain Road, between Gold Coast Drive and Carroll Canyon Road, was closed at 4:45 p.m. and will remain closed for several hours….
