Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk may end Greater Brisbane’s lockdown on Thursday, a day before the start of the Easter long weekend, if CCP virus testing numbers remain high and new case numbers stay low, she told reporters on Wednesday. Palaszczuk said only two new locally-acquired cases were reported since Tuesday, with no further known cases of community transmission in the state. She described the low numbers of new locally-acquired cases as encouraging.
