The Twitter account of the non-profit investigative journalism watchdog Project Veritas is the latest account to be resinstated after the social media platform was taken over by Elon Musk.
“Thank you @ElonMusk for reinstating the Project Veritas Twitter account and for standing up for real investigative journalism,” the watchdog wrote in a post on the platform on Nov. 21.
Project Veritas, headed by James O’Keefe since 2011, “investigates and exposes corruption, dishonesty, self-dealing, waste, fraud, and other misconduct in both public and private institutions to achieve a more ethical and transparent society,” according to its website.
“As a legally recognized and fully-reporting enterprise, Project Veritas is the most effective non-profit on the national scene, period,” the website adds….
