Incoming Twitter owner Elon Musk issued a comment on the social media platform’s October 2020 decision to block the reach of a New York Post article detailing Hunter Biden’s overseas business deals.
With just weeks to go before the 2020 election, the NY Post released a story about the younger Biden’s laptop. Twitter, Facebook, and other platforms moved to block the reach, while Twitter locked the newspaper’s account for more than two weeks.
“Suspending the Twitter account of a major news organization for publishing a truthful story was obviously incredibly inappropriate,” Musk wrote on Tuesday in response to another post about the Hunter Biden laptop story.
