In a confusing and incoherent speech at the UN in July, Prince Harry linked what he called the rolling back of constitutional rights in the United States (i.e., the Supreme Court’s Dobbs ruling) to the Russian war in Ukraine. Both were examples, as he saw it, of a “global assault on democracy and freedom.”
On the contrary, the Dobbs ruling is a triumph for democracy and the rule of law. It restored to the people and our representatives a say in the abortion debate.
How can we use this restored right to debate and decide the issue for the benefit of all?…
