I agree the destruction of our culture is tragic and a work in progress. It is an effective “dumbing down” of America. I suggest we not leave out of the discussion a highly important causal factor: mass vaccinations. Cognitive impairment of children ranging from debilitating autism to ADD is devastating the intellectual landscape of the country. These children will never read the classics.
