A Democrat member of the House of Representatives is shelving a plan to introduce a resolution that would have sought to censure Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) for her comments relating to Jews in Nazi Germany. Greene apologized this week for comparing mask mandates to the treatment of Jews under Adolf Hitler. Rep. Brad Schneider (D-Ill.), who had been poised to introduce a resolution to censure Greene, said he was “pleasantly surprised” to learn that Greene visited the Holocaust Memorial Museum and offered an apology afterward.
