Passengers flying on United Airlines and Delta Air Lines from the United Kingdom to the United States will require a negative COVID-19 test no more than 72 hours before boarding their flight. “Delta will require new pre-departure COVID-19 testing for all customers traveling from the UK to the United States. Delta’s joint venture partner Virgin Atlantic is also implementing this new requirement,” a Dec. 22 press statement said. “Beginning December 24th, all passengers flying from the United Kingdom to the United States, or transiting through the United States, are required to show proof of a negative PCR or LAMP COVID-19 test taken less than 72 hours prior to departure,” the statement continued.
