There is little I have written in my life that I have agonized over more than something this simple. After 40 years of teaching at colleges and universities part-time with both undergraduate and graduate students (along with my business career as a manager, director, and three-time vice president for various health care organizations), I know from experience how short the attention span of young people is and their limited retention. While wanting to pass along as much as I can, I am not so arrogant as to not know that if you don’t make it short and concise, all you have to say will fall on deaf ears. So let me focus on my number one goal in life.
