The City of Toronto has pulled an ad that depicted a little girl staying indoors out of the fear of the pandemic, and promoting COVID-19 vaccination for children.
The ad, posted on social media, showed a girl inside her home looking at other children play outside, and ask her mother, “Hey mom, can I go outside and play with my friends?”
To which her mother replies,” No honey, there’ still something going around.”
“Ok,” the girl responds, while continuing to look out her window with a sad expression on her face.
The ad finishes with the message, “Kids should be out there. Not in here. COVID-19 vaccines available for children 6 months to 12 years. Thank you for getting vaccinated,” with a link to the city’s information website on COVID-19….
