Recently, we had a birthday party for one of our daughters. Many family birthdays have been celebrated while abiding by a gluten-free, grain-free, and dairy-free diet. Thankfully we never feel deprived. I’ve developed many recipes to accommodate our dietary needs while still indulging in a celebratory treat. Our little lady requested a chocolate fruit dip for her birthday party. This decadent recipe was the result. Simple, nourishing, and delicious. It was a hit! Ingredients 1 cup chocolate chips* 1 cup coconut cream 2 teaspoons vanilla extract a pinch of unrefined salt 1/4-1/3 cup non-dairy milk such as coconut, almond, or cashew Method In a double boiler, gently melt the chocolate chips. Once they are melted, stir in the coconut cream, vanilla extract, salt, and 1/4 cup of milk. Stir until well-combined.
