The largest metropolis in northern China’s Hebei Province barred its 11 million residents from leaving city confines on Jan. 7 in an effort to curb the spread of the CCP virus which causes COVID-19. Locals in a nearby city said in interviews with The Epoch Times that they were under lockdown, though authorities did not publicly announce the decision.
