Recent news of raids on the offices of not one or two but three different foreign companies, all involved in performing corporate due diligence, has shaken the business world. Such companies essentially inspect that Chinese firms are doing what they say they are doing, are owned by the people they claim they are owned by, and that their financials are not made up of fairylands.
