Politicians from both sides of parliament have criticised China for “serious and systemic” breaches of human rights in Xinjiang. Liberal Kevin Andrews and Labor’s Chris Hayes are putting forward a resolution sharply critical of the Chinese government’s treatment of Uighur people.
