One of my favorite quotes of all time is the Serenity Prayer, written by Reinhold Niebuhr. “God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and wisdom to know the difference.” Identifying the difference is often the biggest part of the battle for me. At the start of each new year, I think a lot about the year that has just gone by.
