Singer Jewel and actor/director Mel Gibson are among the latest celebrities to publicly embrace the anti-child trafficking film “Sound of Freedom” and encourage fans to go see it. That’s despite some of the mainstream media’s efforts to paint the movie in a negative light.
Sharing a video on TikTok and Twitter, the singer/songwriter spoke to the importance of the movie’s message and encouraged everyone to get out and see the drama based on the true story of former government agent Tim Ballard turned independent who works to rescue hundreds of children from sex traffickers.
