The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has said that it’s investigating the possibility that Johnson & Johnson’s (J&J) COVID-19 vaccine can cause a rare neurological disorder known as Guillain-BarrĂ© syndrome (GBS). A spokesperson for the CDC told several news outlets on July 12 that the risk of developing the neurological disorder is very slim and is outweighed by the benefits of the J&J vaccine.
