Calgary Transit says it is offering monthly discounted passes for August and September.
In a statement released on July 18, Calgary Transit said the move is to encourage Calgarians to take part in the city’s slew of activities this summer.
“With so many opportunities in Calgary to participate in activities and events, transit is a great way to make your way around the community and beyond,” the transit agency said.
Both adult and youth monthly passes will be $56 for the two months, which is a 50 percent discount on regular adult fares, and a 30 percent discount on youth fares.
Sales of the discounted passes started on July 15 and can be purchased in person at local vendors and Calgary Transit Customer Services Centres….
